CONFORMATION LEADS
Conformation Leads have been the mainstay of Show ME! from the beginning. They come in two basic styles. One with a satin or silk brocade neckpiece, and one without. Both are 4 ft. long, and feature either a stainless steel or brass swivel so the dog won't get caught up in the lead, and a decorative stainless steel or brass slide that is backed up by a very tight o-ring. The same is true for my Toy Leads. The only difference in the two leads is that the neckpiece on the Conformation Lead is larger than on the Toy Leads, and they are made out of 1/4 inch wide, flat, parachute nylon. .JPG)
These leads come in a rainbow of colors and combinations with the satins and brocades, so the inventory is constantly changing. The best way to know what I have in stock is to email me with your color preferences, and I will send you a picture of what I have available at the current time. I always keep the mainstay of colors on hand, those being, black, white, navy blue, royal blue, red, kelly green, chocolate brown, walnut brown, tan, gold, purple, and light pink. I carry many other colors as well, so feel free to ask if you don't see a color listed above that you are looking for. Chances are, I have it in stock.
Conformation leads work best with small to medium sized breeds. When I say this, I mean any puppy or breed from around 10# on up to 40#. My Martingales work well with these sized dogs as well, although I do not have those listed at this time.
Brocades change every season, but I use bridal satin on all the leads with satin neckpieces to ensure the finest quality neckpiece available for the comfort of your dog. I try to buy enough of the brocades that I think will be popular in order to make enough for my clients without flooding the market. I hate to hear that my clients are running into each other at shows with their dogs on the same brocade leads when I've tried my hardest to keep from making too many of one style! For the most part, I've been able to avoid that. On some orders I will mix and match nylons and satins, as in the case of Maltese owners who want a black lead with a white neckpiece. This does not happen very often, but I try to make everyone happy.
